Aguadilla is a seaside city and is considered as one of the best beach vacation spots in Puerto Rico. Here are some of the top things to see and do:

Go to Parque de Colon

Parque de Colon, otherwise known as Columbus Park, is a great place for visitors to see. It has a special memorial to Christopher Columbus that is interesting to see. Plus, there is a children’s play area with a tiny train, and it’s close to Aguadilla’s downtown.

Go to Parque Las Cascadas

Parque Las Cascadas is another popular tourist destination to see in Aguadilla. This beautiful park is next to the Luis Canena Marquez Estados stadium, as well as the Cscadas Waterpark where you can have a fun time playing on the water rides.

Go to El Merendero Point

El Merendero is considered to be a popular and romantic place in Aguadilla where you can see the sun go down with your loved ones. It has fantastic views of the area and is a great vantage point for taking pictures or just enjoying the scenery.

Get Involved in Water Fun

Aguadilla has lots of water sports and activities to have fun doing like going surfing or fishing, riding a jet ski, paddling a kayak, going snorkeling or diving or going on a banana boat tour. Surfing, for instance, is best if you go between October and April.

Do Some Shopping

Aguadilla is known for its local farmer’s markets where people can shop for produce, baked products, and meet the local population. Plus, there is a large shopping center where you can buy clothing, hats, bags, and souvenirs.

The Punta Borinquen lighthouse was located on the old Ramey Air Force Base and was a very important navigation aid until it was damaged by an earthquake in 1918.
